How often will a Blue Creek slip need dredging again?
Plan on 7 to 12 years up the arm, against 10 to 20 on open water. The creek keeps delivering clay, so the interval depends on how close you sit to the mouth and what the watershed upstream is doing. A maintenance pass on a slip we have already mapped costs less than the first dig.
Is a depth check worth it before buying a waterfront house here?
